It is an intense and entertaining show to watch.

The first season of the show first aired on M-NET and DStv Channel 37 from 5 March to 4 June 2006. The voting results were verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes. This season will also include the famous pool and grill party and the Saturday Night Raves. Big Brother Naija has been a widely discussed topic in Nigerian society. While some people criticize the show for promoting superficiality, materialism, and toxic behaviors, others see it as an opportunity for viewers to confront their biases, engage in open conversations, and rethink their perspectives. Supporters believe that the show serves as a vehicle for empathy and understanding by showcasing the complexities of human interactions. However, there are valid concerns about whether the relentless pursuit of fame and fortune depicted on the show is a healthy aspiration for the younger generation.
